Supermarket Chaos skills

This Supermarket Chaos skills guide separates confirmed upgrade roles from community recommendations, then explains when ATM and Sticker information changes by map or patch.

VERSION Patch 1.1.6PLATFORM Windows / SteamVERIFIED August 7, 2026
Quick answer

For a fresh run, prioritize movement and carry capacity before finder tools. Quick Step shortens every route, Extra Carry reduces return trips, Shelf Finder solves exact placement, and Match Finder or Request More help with late cleanup.

Recommended upgrade order

EDITORIAL + COMMUNITY The Steam store confirms that upgrades improve movement, carrying, and finding spots. The names and priority below are supported by a current Dream Convenience Store guide, but the order is advice rather than an official optimal build.

Practical first-run priority for Supermarket Chaos skills
UpgradeRoleWhy it mattersPriority
Quick StepMovementRaises movement speed and opens the route to Sprint and the finder skills.Start here
Extra CarryCapacityRaises carry capacity from the five-item base toward a community-documented maximum of 15.Upgrade early
Shelf FinderPlacementPoints toward the correct section for the product currently in hand.Best for new maps
Request MoreGatheringPulls matching unshelved products into your available carry slots.Pair with carry
Match FinderCleanupHighlights matching products that are still loose on the floor.Best near the end

Shelf Finder or Match Finder?

Use Shelf Finder when the item is already in your hand and the broad category makes sense, but the exact destination is unclear. Use Match Finder when one known product is on a white-tagged shelf and more copies are still loose on the floor. Request More is strongest when you have spare carry slots and want matching products brought into the current batch.

Do not use a finder skill as a substitute for reading the map. If the section itself is wrong, a placement route is more useful. If the section is correct but the product cannot be seen, finder and gathering tools save the most time.

ATM and Stars

VERIFY IN 1.1.6 The original-map community workflow describes earning Stars from completed shelves and spending them at ATM machines for Sticker rewards. Exact machine prices and success rates have not been rechecked against patch 1.1.6, and the previously linked Steam guide is no longer publicly available.

Before spending Stars, read the odds and cost shown by the machine in your current map. The page intentionally does not freeze old ATM numbers into permanent advice. That protects players from treating a removed guide or an earlier map as current game data.

Stickers by map

The Dream Convenience Store uses a different Sticker flow. Its official patch announcement says three Stickers appear periodically and the player chooses one. Community guides describe using Sticker effects to improve economy or skill uptime, but the exact pool and values can change.

What is safe to carry between maps
TopicSafe guidanceDo not assume
MovementFaster travel helps every large map. That one upgrade order is optimal for every player.
CarryMore slots reduce collection trips. That old costs or level caps are unchanged.
Finder toolsUse shelf tools for placement and match tools for loose items. That they solve an incorrect category choice.
StickersRead the reward and current-map UI before choosing. That ATM and Dream-map selection use the same rules.

Three useful build patterns

  1. New-map scout: Quick Step, Extra Carry, then Shelf Finder. This reduces walking while the section layout is still unfamiliar.

  2. Large-store organizer: Extra Carry and Request More after movement is comfortable. Use it when repeated products are spread across a wide route.

  3. Last-item cleanup: Match Finder, Shelf Finder, and the missing-item workflow. Save high-attention search tools for white tags and the final checklist.

Good upgrade choices reduce travel or uncertainty. They do not replace a map-specific inventory, a correct host save, or a verified shelf-capacity reference.

Review Supermarket Chaos skills after changing maps, because a compact Dream route and the 790-shelf third map reward different balances of movement, capacity, and search help.
